Meet The Team

Hi, I am Wes and I started Ten K training and consultancy to deliver the highest level of training, coaching and consultancy services. I was a professional athlete for 20 years and I am currently a trainer for the NHS and other large organizations throughout the UK, Covering all aspects of corporate training and a specialist in restraint and security services training. I have worked in the Security industry my whole adult life, from nightclub security to close protection bodyguard work, NHS and acute medical security, child safeguarding, Court appointed bailiff work and security advisory on production sets and festivals.

My background is in professional sports and in particular I was a professional MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter, traveling the world and fighting on some of the biggest shows the sport can offer. I have Two World titles and I am a Blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as head coach to my own team. As well as competing at a high level in MMA I also compete at the World cup level of paragliding and have taken part is some of the hardest Adventure races the sport has to offer, including Multi day self sufficient competitions. I am now head coach at Olympians MMA and coach and mentor a team of young fighters as well as many other athletes in many disciplines, covering both the mental and physical aspects of professional sport and development.
